“I am a self confessed ‘geek’, however, despite a love and knowledge of gadgets and gizmos, working for Lady Geek has bought me so much pleasure beyond that of getting to play with fancy smart phones and having an insiders knowledge into the apps that truly will make your life ‘unquantifiably better!’ The scripts are hilarious, Nicola is awesome to work with and the whole team feel like a family. Turning up to work is exciting and I look forward to finding out what kind of trouble Nicola and myself will be getting ourselves into each week.
Im very proud to call myself a ‘Lady Geek’ as I feel the title represents the best qualities of the company; good fun, relevant, easy to get along with and interesting without being boring. In fact, much like every ‘app’ should be!
Nicola Hume:
“I have absolutely no idea how I would cope without my smartphone, the longest I have gone without it was 10 days when my phone died due to me downloading too many apps! Did I learn my lesson?…..probably not.
When I was offered the chance to present ‘Lady Geek TV’ I was there in a flash (with the help of my nifty ‘map’ and ‘traffic update’ apps) and haven’t looked back since. I felt right at home with all the crew and immediately knew that myself and Maddie would be perfect partners in crime.
The moment I was shown the script I honestly couldn’t wait to start filming.”
